Project Goal: A strengthened, vibrant and locally rooted civil society in Rwanda that is a dynamic actor in social, political and economic processes in order to enhance sustainable development processes
Project Summary: The ASC goal is to improve areas of formal and non-formal education, livelihood and food security, and health. ASC works with community-based groups and cooperatives that are at different levels of development. The strategy of ASC is the use of communication as a tool for social change. Through the ASC, ADRA Rwanda has been able to observe and witness social and individual change. The beneficiaries are taught: a) how to improve their production and productivity in agriculture, b) health by preventing diseases including HIV/AIDS, c) advocacy, d) education through FAL and catch-up program.
