Education Changes Everything

ADRA Rwanda has been working in education for more than 40 years and has increased access, equity and quality of inclusive education for the most vulnerable. ADRA Rwanda is recognized by the government and development partners as having greatly contributed to national education policies, curriculum, and infrastructure development. Areas of main intervention include adult literacy, special needs education, pupil sponsorship, parent-teacher associations, education in emergency, schools’ infrastructure, and teacher training that allow children to attend schools.

  • Increase access to optimal education for target population in Rwanda.
  • Strengthen Institutional school management (parents and teachers).
  • Enhance gender parity and inclusive Education (girls education, Special Needs Education, Inclusive education).
  • Strengthen alternative learning (Functional Adult Literacy, vocational)
