From the 7th to 8th of December 2021,ADRA Rwanda in collaboration with WFP through the Warehouse Management and School Feeding Project conducted a two day training on Nutrition, Health and Hygiene in Rubavu District. The purpose of this training was to strengthen and equip the staff for improved performance in their day to day work while serving the beneficiaries. This training also aimed at enhancing the staffs capacity in dealing with gender related issues but also get an understanding of how gender relates to different categories of the society particularly boys and girls at different ages as well as men and women.
During this training, the staff were oriented on different aspect of proper and recommended food handling and management practices for maximum benefit and desired outcome. With the acquired knowledge and skills the staff committed to excel in their duties by adopting applying what they have learnt.RUZIRAKUVUKA Jonas
